- Structural icons
Includes the structural and physical categories.
- Skeletal system
Provides a framework for the body and protects its organs. It acts as a reservoir for calcium and phosphorus and red and white blood cells and platelets are made in the bone marrow. Importantly, the muscles and ligaments are attached to the bones and enable movement
- Muscular system
There are two types of muscle in the human body: striated muscles which form the postural muscles associated with movement and skeletal function, and smooth muscles which form the walls of our internal organs.
